01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Start the day with toast, settle in for fresh pasta at lunch, or unwind over Napolitan and a drink in the evening. At PRONTO - Shimbashi Station, the menu changes with the hours, giving each visit a different feel.

Breakfast options include a toast set, a ham and cheese toast set, and the Asa Gopan set, where you can choose your bread. It’s an easy choice whether you want a quick coffee and something light or a breakfast built around toast.

At lunch, fresh pasta comes with a range of sauces, including tomato sauce with mozzarella, basil sauce with prawns and avocado, and Japanese-style carbonara. The different combinations make it easy to choose according to your mood. One diner was surprised to find the pasta was fresh and said they wanted to try another flavour next time. For dessert, consider the very firm classic pudding or the Uji matcha Basque cheesecake.

In the evening, the menu shifts to Kissakaba dishes, such as Napolitan pasta with a choice of red or white sauce, prawn ajillo, and an assortment of cured ham. Beer, highballs and lemon sours are also available, making it suitable both for a full meal and for a light drink with a few snacks. Some diners have also visited in the evening for tea or a non-alcoholic drink. The drinks list goes beyond alcohol: cream soda and coffee floats are on offer too, so you needn’t decide in advance what you’re in the mood for.

There are bar-counter seats, which can suit a solo meal or a short break. Diners have reported power outlets at the counter, a useful detail when choosing where to sit.
